In desperate need of a title.

Missed my IS timetable-selecting appointment but I am lucky to be appointed to an afternoon class!
Landed myself in TB25 for my Business Studies modules, which is another arrangement I’m very pleased with.
Looking forward to meeting my new classmates next semester since I’m wasting myself at home Facebooking my life away.
Not forgetting all former TB28 classmates! Best of luck in the future!

Huge tremors yesterday but I didn’t feel anything over here at the East.
It was a peaceful evening when I was playing a drawing game with Koftra over at Facebook(as usual) and he screamed about an earthquake halfway through.
My confidence in the safety of Singapore against natural disasters has been terribly shaken since yesterday.
And just when I was about to forget about everything and get back to Facebooking, a friend of mine complained of tremors this morning!
The recent chain of tsunami earthquakes reminds me of the estimated 2012 Armageddon.
Hope everyone’s prepared, cause it’s getting more possible by the second.

I think I’m gonna have a chance to leave the house soon!
Found a person who has an almost-similar guitar interest and it’s non other than Wilson!
I’ve always thought of him as someone who’s more interested in vox than instruments since he’s always singing away rather than performing a fantastic display of air guitar.
Another good time to remind you guys not to judge a book by its cover!
Okay back to leaving the house, Wilson will be accompanying me to touring every music shop there is in Peninsula Plaza for his preferred instrument since he’s kinda confused whether to go acoustic rather than electric.
Hope he finds his interest soon just like how I found mine!

Gibson Les Paul Studio Alpine White

Yep this is my dream guitar, the Gibson Les Paul Studio in Alpine White finish. A real beauty isn’t she?

The house has been dead quiet for days, especially due to the fact that my mom went back to Malaysia and my two brothers. Life suddenly feels so much better these few days even though I’ve to do my dad’s laundry as well as my own. Got away with late nights and skipping meals with no nagging at all. Reality check, they’re gonna come home sooner or later or more specifically, tomorrow morning. Good things never last.

Last Saturday is officially the last outing with my bros before Koftra’s promos, which is the primary reason why it’s the last. Secondary reason? Weekend outings have been burning my pockets without fail. Thirty dollars a week might mean nothing to most of you but to me it’s less money for more important stuff. Nothing really special except for window shopping at Ion Orchard.

Still can’t convince my dad to do credit card payment for my online purchase of Magnya Carta CD+DVD. Reason being it’s not safe just that he said in a meaner way and me getting a scolding for such a simple request.

That’s it, update for the week. Guess I won’t be updating for a while since nothing interesting can possibly happen at home.

So very bored.

Right after the last test, I hurried home, grabbed my bolster, and fell into an almost-eternal slumber. Slept like 18 hours maybe? Record-breaking for me indeed.

Awesome outing last Saturday with bros at PS. Was kinda bored of Bugis so I suggested the newly opened J.CUBE cybercafe beside Zone X. What was most surprising is the fact that J.CUBE is location right on where the $5/hr cybercafe PCBunk, the bloodthirsty, power-hungry, and evil organization, previously stood. Apparently it had closed down and that’s like such a wonderful piece of news! Kudos to whoever managed to bring the downfall of this scourge! Good riddance!

Of course, we had another good enough reason to have a change of location for our oh-so-sacred weekly outing. Koftra suggested the cheap and good(kinda contradicting I know) steak at Astons. Didn’t manage to get in because of both the queue which stretches for about fifteen families even when we reached there before dinner time, and our low tolerance level. Hurried back to PS for our dinner at MFM, and I must say I was pretty satisfied. The queue was pretty long as well but not as outrageous as Astons’ of course, and we got served with ice cold beverage when queuing up, pretty good customer service I must say! I ordered a standard plate of battered fish and chips and couldn’t finish everything up as usual. Luckily there’s Jun Wen had a pretty amazing appetite on that particular day, which I don’t know why, and he managed to finish up both all the leftovers from both me and Koftra’s plates. A growing boy needs lots of nutrition!

Got so tired after the dinner, but managed to survive another two hours of random walking. Favorite shop of the day is Yamaha! First time holding an awesome-looking guitar, totally refueled my motivation to save money for the Les Paul Studio. We managed to find lots of awesome figurines, swords, and cosplay shops too.

Was so tired till I gave up on waiting for Koftra to be ready to DotA when we three went home. Slept till the next day and woke up with a splitting headache, the kind which you would wish to end the pain by ramming your skull into the wall. It got a teeny weeny bit better after some capsules of Panadol though, and I managed to spend the day in front of the computer without throwing up or which could happen when you’re as sick as a “insert appropriate noun here”.

If I remember correctly, NCHS Teacher’s Day celebration falls on the next day. Was still a little bit sick of leaving the comforts of my house and risk developing a fever, so I rested till late noon.

There it is, Lik Zhing’s weekly adventure. Will try to blog more frequently this 7-week holidays if I’ve got stuff worth sharing. Cancelled the thought of dyeing whitish blonde already, since my hair isn’t up to my expectations yet, and kinda lazy and poor for the salon. Stay tune peeps, more updates coming up for the blog.

P.S. I might turn this blog into a game review site if things get too boring around here, but that’s with minimal possibility.

How much I love Facebook.

I’m on my sacred duty to remind you guys how much Facebook means to us in our everyday lives.

If you feel the urge to read on, I’ve done my job. We’re in the same boat after all.

Bah! That’s how bored I’m now, and super reluctant to go off to bed. Off to Facebook then.
